The Hardware Industry is Aiming 8 Billion Dollars Of Export
The hardware industry, united for the first time under the umbrella of the Hardware Manufacturers and Businessmen Association (HISİAD), and operates by approximately 14 thousand companies, has an export volume of 7 billion dollars.Çetin Tecdelioğlu, the chairman of the HISİAD association, which was founded in May 2019 and provides employment for approximately 650 thousand people, states that 3.2 billion dollars of exports were made in the first 5 months of 2019 and this export will reach 8 billion dollars by the end of the year. Tecdelioğlu, saying that there are an export related acceleration and growth in the industry, states the industry is faster than the average in Turkey.
At the beginning of the Turkey’s top ten exporting countries, Germany is taking place. Iraq, France, Romania and the USA follow Germany. Tecdelioğlu, the chairman of HISİAD; "We actually accomplish something very difficult. If we can sell more than 700 million dollars to a country with high quality expectations like Germany, we will sell everything to the whole world. We have achieved a market of 293 million dollars in France. It is quite possible to at least increase these figures to German figures." says.
With Hardware Eurasia Fair to be held at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center on March 23-26, 2022, it is aimed to bring together local and foreign industry professionals and make a name for the industry in the international arena, and to establish important business collaborations.
